convenient location helpful staff plentiful choices
This hotel boasts a very convenient location near landmarks and transport. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful (they offered great local tips!). I enjoyed the plentiful choices at breakfast each morning.
The shower pressure was somewhat weak.

the hotel location near the river was very nice. i found breakfast was pretty good and plentiful each morning. the staff i met were friendly and very helpful. i really liked the lovely outdoor roof TERRACE with bar service.
the windows were very old and didn't close perfectly, so some street noise was audible at night.

I found the hotel steeped in history and wonderfully maintained. The building retains its character while providing updated amenities. The room at the front offered a fine river view from a private balcony. Breakfast was delicious. The breakfast room itself was quite excellent.
The air conditioning seemed less effective than desired.

historical charm with noticeable flaws
clingy shower curtain weak air conditioning
The bathroom definitely showed its age. taking a shower involved a constant battle with a clingy shower curtain. the air conditioning was weak and felt as ancient as the building itself. It barely cooled the room. breakfast felt a bit insufficient. I hoped for more variety.

i adored the hotel's historic atmosphere it seemed like stepping back in time! the room was large and airy i loved the high ceilings and big windows. breakfast included many delicious options ensuring i started my day right!
the shower water temperature was inconsistent sometimes not reaching a comfortable warmth it definitely impacted my morning routine.
