easy transport bus stop small room grime shower
the location was fine for using public transport, especially buses to the city center. the bus stop was about 100 yards away.
The room seemed a little small to me (though maybe that's just me). it also wasn't really clean. I noticed dust everywhere. the shower also had some grime, and the mirrors had smears.

The parking area was great. The owner directed us to local dining options. The house was VERY clean and quiet at night.

convenient location free parking easy access
The location was convenient. It was close to the coast and Liverpool city centre. The guest house was easy to find. Free parking was a definite plus.

a stay with some drawbacks
unresponsive owner rattling fan
the location was acceptable, as it was walkable to some shops.
My room was uncomfortably cold. The radiator was off and i couldn't find any temperature control. i tried calling the owner about this around 10 pm, but i received no response. also the bathroom fan rattled all night long. It was quite annoying

ideal stay close to the ferry
local advice clean house
the owner showed great advice regarding local dining options, which i found quite helpful. parking was great, and i appreciated the convenience it added to my stay. the house was very clean (i really value that), and the neighborhood was very quiet at night.
the provided towels didn't smell fresh, a bit disappointing. i believe this is something that could easily be addressed .

The room includes nice, clean facilities. The bed feels comfortable. The tea tray was quite well stocked, I enjoyed a beverage. The host seems very friendly. He showd the room and the facilities.
The bedding feels tired. I think it needs an update.

phillip was very accommodating on short notice. he helped reduce my stress during a family emergency. the hotel location worked great. the bed felt very comfy.
the bathroom fan rattled All night. this noise was distracting. I found it difficult to sleep well.
