Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Turks Head is often praised for its central location, a stone's throw from the cathedral, and its proximity to the city centre, making it easy to explore Exeter. Guests frequently highlight the spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The inclusion of amenities like coffee machines and sometimes Rituals toiletries in the bathroom is a recurring positive point, though a few guests in top-floor rooms have noted the steep stairs. The pub with its great selection of beers adds to the overall appeal and value for money.

mixed feelings on this stay

good sized bathroomlate evening noiserickety bed
the room was a standard king room, and it did have a good sized bathroom which i liked.
i was really disappointed with the noise levels. being above a pub, it was noisy late into the evening. the bed also needs updating, it felt old and rickety. i could hear people moving furniture very early in the morning.

The staff helped hold onto our bags. This allowed us to explore the area before check-in. they also phoned for a taxi. it was helpful that they provided ear plugs and an eye mask.

central locationstreet noiseuseless coffee machine
the location was indeed central, as advertised. it's hard to argue with that.
I had a budget double room, a place of questionable attributes. the noise from the street was pretty intense until late (.. ) street revelry, i guess. also, the coffee machine in the room was utterly useless. Seemed like a cruel joke.
