Review summary
Based on recent reviews

The Ring O'Bells boasts a convenient location, especially appreciated for its proximity to the Piece Hall and the train station, both just a short walk away. Many guests found the rooms to be spacious, and the shared bathroom is noted for being big, bright, and clean, featuring both a bath with a shower and a walk-in shower. While most appreciate the shared kitchen and its free tea, coffee, and milk, some guests have occasionally observed it in a less-than-pristine state. The pub downstairs offers a great spot for drinks, with a chicken place often parked outside for convenient meals.

adequate stay with room for improvement

uncomfortable mattressdelayed heater
the room was not heated upon arrival. i found the mattress to be quite uncomfortable, with springs that were very noticeable. a heater was eventually provided, but only after we returned later that night. i would have preferred to come back to a warm room after being out in inclement weather.

a decent stay, some issues

central locationfriendly staffmissing toweluntidy kitchen
the location was central, close to shops. the staff was friendly, i suppose. the parking facility was nearby and convenient, i found it useful.
there wasn't any towels present, so i couldn't shower, a bit annoying. the shared kitchen was to be lived in, it wasn't very tidy, and i just didn't feel like making a brew there.
