The staff was very friendly. room 2 was lovely, and it was clean. i also loved that the hotel is dog friendly. the bar had a fab atmosphere, i felt very relaxed there.
the menu choices were more limited than shown online! though i understand things can change.

The room decor was great, with extra touches . It was so great. the hosts were friendly and helpful, especially the host's mum. the food in the restaurant was very good. I ate there one evening. the pub was dog friendly, a big plus.
I received emails stating breakfast was included. the owner and manager communicated this information abruptly.

the location has lovely walks directly from the village. parking is available in the village. there is also a fantastic farm shop cafe down the road. the setting offers a peaceful experience, in spite of its central location.
