Zoe and her team were fantastic from arrival. i was shown to my room and a table was booked for dinner. the room was one of the best i have stayed in. the hotel provided towels and bowls for my dog. That was very helpful.
the service at breakfast felt unwelcoming, a simple greeting would have made a difference.

The room had both a double and single bed. This worked out well for us. Breakfast offered both continental and cooked options, a good selection. I found the poached eggs on toast particularly good. They exceeded my expectations. Dinner was also a highlight. I enjoyed it.
The room size was small. this impacted our overall comfort . We decided to leave one night early because of it.

mixed experience, some issues encountered

the room was nice and neat.
the christmas lunch was not good. plates were cold and food was lukewarm. my salmon had too much gravy-like sauce..
