Acceptable Stay with a Significant Shortcoming
smart bathroomthin walls
The bathroom was very smart and clean. The room also was well appointed. I liked the combination of modern facilities with character features such as the wood paneling.
The room walls are thin. I could hear all of the neighboring rooms noises. The pub also plays very loud music until almost midnight Thursday-Saturday. There was no chance for an early night on those days.

the room was gorgeous I saw everything renovated with genuine care. I noticed lovely colours and fabrics used as well as luxurious towels. The bed was comfortable.
the corridors WEREN'T very sound proofed.

Fantastic Find Above a Cozy Pub

I always appreciate a hotel that pays attention to detail. The room had a nice view of the neighborhood and it was looked super fresh. The pub downstairs provided a great atmosphere and served excellent food. Staff were friendly and helpful and they always had a smile.
The corridors could use better soundproofing, as noise from other guests was noticeable at times.

The hotel is located in a quiet, residential area (which I knew from before). It offered a nothing noisy, away from the bustling city center. The surrounding houses are lovely and there are nice seats outside to sit and relax.

My room was large and very tastefully furnished. The bathroom was very clean and well-kept. I also appreciated the thoughtful tea and coffee selections available in the room (a great touch!).
