i enjoyed the friendly welcome and the room was very comfortable. the linens were clean and fresh. i also found a warm blanket in the room, perfect for the cooler evenings.
the pub's signage at the front was missing.

the room size was good, i loved it! the beds were comfy, so comfy i didn't want to leave. the staff were friendly and so helpful i was really impressed. breakfast was delicious (especially the sausages!).
the toilet brush holder in the bathroom needed a small upgrade, but it was not a big deal.

i found the staff friendly and helpful. the breakfast was freshly cooked, with generous portions. it was so delicious! the location worked well for walking, and the pub garden looked spacious.
the stairs were rickety. it is a very old building, part of its charm though. but for someone with mobility issues, it might be difficult.

The hotel had a great location near crowcombe court. It was about a five-minute walk. it seems ideal for exploring the exmoor area, too. i liked that it's close to the a358.

I enjoyed the pub's real ale selection. there was a nice atmosphere. the front snug bar added to the charm, and i noticed the range of meals on offer. They looked tasty. it's so convenient.
