St Anne'S - A 3-star vegetarian bed & breakfast with wildlife sanctuary gardens on Chalice Hill

St Anne'S offers a vegetarian bed & breakfast experience with super-comfortable beds and views across the Somerset Levels. The property features themed rooms, like the Moroccan Room with North African-inspired decor and the Yurt, a self-contained hideaway at the base of Chalice Hill with a kitchenette and log burner. A continental and cooked vegetarian breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room, which overlooks the garden. The garden is being transformed into a wildlife sanctuary, attracting badgers, birds, and early-flying insects. Guests can relax in the meadow area with Cornflowers, Corn Marigolds, and Common Poppies. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, and the property is minutes from Glastonbury Abbey and Chalice Well. St Anne'S also provides a guest sitting room with books, games, and refreshments.

Pros

The garden serves as an evolving wildlife sanctuary with close-up views of badgers and birds.

Unique accommodations such as the Yurt and themed rooms with distinct décor and views.

Vegetarian breakfast includes freshly prepared cooked options with local ingredients.

Proximity to landmarks like Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Well, within walking distance.

Cons

The property emphasizes vegetarian offerings exclusively, with no meat-based breakfast options.

No on-site TV access in bedrooms, prioritizing a tranquil retreat atmosphere.
