Fantastic Stay, Home Away from Home!

This guest house had a very warm, inviting atmosphere! I found its location ideal for walking to the town center. It was also easy to get to the ferry for a trip to Portsmouth. The breakfast offered a wide array of choices. There were plenty of cereals, four types of fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, hot cross buns, toast, jams and marmalades (the croissants were fresh and delicious!). The room was clean. I was happy the location was perfect.
The only minor issue I observed was that the building's exterior looked a little shabby.

This place provided kitchen facilities, including a microwave, fridge, and cutlery. I also appreciated the off-street parking. It definitely added to peace of mind .

The hostess, Heather, offered an amazing personal touch at breakfast. She made sure everything was ok (very attentive!). The customer service was great and reliable. I also found the staff friendly.

The location provides a convenient walk to the town center in about ten minutes. It is also only about a fifteen-minute walk to the ferry (this made exploring the area quite simple!).

the continental breakfast had a big choice of cereals, it was very convenient.
I noticed the shower curtain wasn't replaced after my stay. It seemed quite dirty. the drinking glasses in the bathroom looked rinsed, not properly washed. this was disappointing because i don't think the owner knows.

heather greeted me warmly. The room featured wooden shutters, important for a dark night. The location made finding the hotel easy! The provided parking added convenience. Breakfast included coffee, tea, juice, and cereals. toys kept the kids entertained in the breakfast room.
i found the shower curtain not replaced after a previous stay, it was dirty.
