Guests frequently compliment the Alverbank Hotel's beautiful location and characterful rooms, particularly room 2, which offers a massive space overlooking the beach. Breakfast is a highlight, often described as good, and can be enjoyed on the sunny garden terrace when weather permits; the breakfast menu offers a nice variety, though some guests were let down by sliced white bread instead of bloomer. The hotel also stands out for being dog-friendly, with a great park conveniently located directly behind it for off-leash activities. Room 1 is considered the best, boasting gorgeous views and a bath as a lovely luxury.
