The pub downstairs was a warm, friendly place with great beer. the room provided good value. the pub was the heart of this stay. I would return for that alone!!!
the corridor conversations were a bit loud.

the room was close to the bar.. it was lovely to enjoy the atmosphere. the breakfast was really good, a great start to the day. staff helped with directions, ensuring i found my way easily. they offered a warm welcome and were attentive to any needs.
i noticed some noise at night.. it sounded like furniture moved in the bar area, disturbing sleep a little.

noisy roomconfusing check-in
the room was too noisy i could hear everything from the other rooms it was not good for sleep also the shower had some problems the water was cold at night but fine in the morning this was annoying i expect consistent hot water when i want to shower these issues need addressing. the check-in process was confusing i couldn't find the main bar initially better signs are needed to guide guests. this made a poor first impression after a long journey

the staff welcomed me and were very helpful . the location worked well for catching an early ferry. the beds were comfortable and my room had everything i needed. there was also a lovley food shack with coffee available.
I had difficulty finding the main bar to check in. Clearer signs would help.

the mattress felt old. it sagged a bit. the door lock was hard to use. it didn't always work. this made me worry about safety and noise.
