alpine wing, a good experience!
modern wingtiny dishwasheroutside firepitslow temperature
i stayed in the newer alpine wing. it was modern and clean. our king suite included a stove, microwave, fridge, and even a tiny dishwasher. outside firepits were available in a few locations. i saw elk right outside my ground floor patio door in the evening (that was amazing!).
the steam room did not get very hot. this was disappointing, but at least the hotel had one.

the room had super comfortable beds and ample lounge area. a nice patio seating area was present too. the room stayed dark and quiet so i could sleep well (as long as i wanted!).

the hotel has good location with an easy walk to town. i had an outside room with a balcony to enjoy the evening sun. the hotel is conveniently located near various restaurants.

the noise was terrible. an loud air conditioner kept me awake. the sound insulation was not good. i could hear everything from other rooms. i also found that the promised high-speed internet was actually quite slow. i had trouble doing even basic tasks.

the room was not up to par. taps in the sink did not work properly. the toilet seat was loose and the shower was hard to control. i also noticed the mugs and glasses were left uncleaned.

the room was modern. it included queen beds and a kitchenette. it was an easy walk into town too. the bed and comforter were very clean and i had a deep sound sleep!!!
i stayed on the older side because of room selection. i was surprised by the updates needed in the bathroom. the balcony, carpets, and light fixtures need work too. this is especially true considering the price i paid to stay here.

My stay had some notable issues. the bathroom lighting was poor. i also found it frustrating that there was only one nightstand. this left one side of the bed without a convenient place for a phone or book. i also had trouble with the towels. They felt really rough.
