check-in was quick and easy. the family room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable, (i slept like a baby!). breakfast was delicious and filling. i found the location really convenient for exploring local attractions.
the stairs were a bit steep, but i managed!

I found several issues needed attention. The toilet door did not close properly. It needed repair. The tv looked quite old, and the sound quality was poor. The settee looked old, and it should be replaced.

the location is central. the staff were polite and friendly, a plus. breakfast has freshly cooked options, also cereal. free parking is available behind the hotel, with space for six cars.
the room felt a little dated. there were some signs of wear and tear to the decor. the ceiling had a hole. during my stay, there was no hot water.
