i found the location convenient for exploring nearby areas the large car park was useful the room was spacious and warm breakfast was lovely i found the staff to be friendly. the bed was comfortable. the building had vintage style country house charm i liked that aspect. i found it to be a very cosy place after hiking all day.
The door to my room was a little hard to lock from the outside. It looked like it had been damaged at some point i did not like it

the hotel is conveniently located near the heads of the valleys its proximity allows for quick access to main roads this benefits guests who want to explore the surrounding valleys easily. it is easy to find.

the double room i stayed in was a good size it provided ample space for luggage and movement the room also featured central heating maintaining a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. the bed was large.

the hotel offers a large car park with space this is especially useful traveling with their own vehicles. the breakfast service includes a solid selection with options it provides a good start to the day before traveling.

the staff are very friendly. breakfast was also good with much choice. i did enjoy the good coffee and tea, it helped start my day well.
the door to my room was a bit hard to lock from the outside. it seems it had some damage, possibly from someone trying to force it open. i worry about safety sometimes.

the location provides easy access to heads of the valleys. also, blackwood is quite near. it helps to have good transport links when you travel a lot so this is a great bonus.

The breakfast was fabulous each morning. It included a good range of options. The room was basic but very clean. Tea and coffee were available in the room. I found the warm electric shower especially useful after a long day.
The building appears terribly old. I worried about the structure.
