Adequate stay near Yasaka Tower

The hotel's location is its best feature. It is very close to the Yasaka Tower. The staff members were warm and cute. The rooftop provided views of the surrounding area.
The wifi information was difficult to find. The details were inside a canvas photo frame , which I did not notice initially. I also observed some stains on the carpet and a couple of bugs in the room.

This hotel is amazing. i loved the super convenient location, right by the famous five-story pagoda (i saw it every day!). all the main attractions were totally walkable. shun at the front desk was helpful. She even let us check in early and helped us with our luggage, that was so kind.
the wi-fi details were a little hidden inside a canvas photo frame (it took me a minute to find it!).

the hotel offers a 15% discount at a coffee truck nearby, a total perk. i had a great coffee every morning, it was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore.

Laundry machines are available in the basement, this was super convenient after several weeks of traveling. there is also a rooftop area with really excellent views. I especially loved the view of temples.

the lighting was a problem the window to the hallway let in too much light all night. it was bright enough to read a newspaper. i needed a sleep mask to sleep. the room was only cleaned every other day and i did not receive notice.
