varied breakfast good quality food engaging staff tired bathroom unclean basin stained carpet
the breakfast was varied. it had good quality food. the staff were engaging. i found the room super clean it was well lit and comfortable.
the bathroom felt very tired the basin and plug were unclean. the door sticks. the mirror also looked tired. the bedroom carpet had multiple stains

a cozy stay near the beach
lovely hosts quiet beach clean space great value
everything about my visit was great. the hosts, dave and carol, were lovely. (they really go the extra mile.) the entire place felt comfortable and clean. i found it to be more than worth the money i paid. plus, a quiet beach was just down the hill, maybe 200 yards away.
i noticed the stairways could use a little upgrade, mainly the carpet.

The hotel offers a bowling alley and pool tables. I noticed the bowling alley was full size. this added an element of fun, particularly for evening entertainment, and the grounds include a spacious private car park, made arrival smooth.

the hotel is located a short walk from the beach, roughly five minutes on foot. the immediate area around the hotel is quiet, distanced from the main hustle of the town, yet close enough to easily access amenities, if needed.

The room had a great-sized bed, perfect for a comfortable night. the en suite bathroom was also nice and clean, i found the room to have everything needed for a short stay. The provided breakfast was lovely.

I had the sunday lunch. It was a good price. there were several options, including pork, beef, and turkey. The plum crumble with ice cream was a satisfying dessert, and they also served cornish rattler cyder.

The location was near the beach. i appreciated the comfy bed. the food was reasonably priced and tasty. They accommodated my gluten free diet. the room size was lovely and large.
Staff seemed unwelcoming. Only one lady was friendly and helpful. the reception, stairways, and corridors need an upgrade. i noticed dirty carpet and marked paintwork. It needs improvements.

lovely breakfast large room great bonus
The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. The food was tasty. The room was large and it accommodated my dietary needs. The beach was close. This was a great bonus.
The hot water had an unsteady flow, making showers short.
