the hotel's location was acceptable. its proximity to the trainline to the airport and restaurants proved somewhat helpful.
i wasn't pleased that the bath gel seemed diluted daily. it was staff watered it down instead of refilling it properly. this made showering less than ideal, and i expect better attention to detail.

the location proved convenient. it was just a short walk to casa batllo and the metro station. a complimentary beverage station near reception was available. this was much appreciated after a long day.
my room faced the street and noise was an issue. despite double glazing, i found it hard to ignore the traffic sounds. i also noticed that the cupboard space in the room was inadequate. it meant i had to leave my luggage open on the floor.

The room was spacious and clean, a treat. I had a balcony with good views, I enjoyed having it. The staff was helpful. I was pleased to find a free coffee machine available in reception.
Street noise was audible, even with closed windows. It bothered me a little.
