i found easy access into the building. the provided kitchen facilities were excellent and i really enjoyed having the option to cook (especially when i got tired of restaurant food).
i found the lack of on-site staff. i missed having a concierge or someone at reception to ask questions.

my double room on the first floor was beautifully appointed and really clean. the room included comfortable beds and the heating was easy to adjust for personalized comfort. there were also fluffy towels in the bathroom.

the hotel has a perfect location and is within easy walking distance of lord street. the train station is a 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel (this was convenient).

i couldn't get my firestick to work on the tv. it seemed to be the only minor inconvenience .

The room was an excellent size. It included a large tv and two sofas. the bathroom had two basins and a large shower. That was great. kitchen areas are well equipped. That helped me a lot. debbie, the owner, provided excellent communications. She was really helpful.
it just all seemed a bit strange. i have no idea who the other "guests" were, they just seemed to be loitering around in the hallway!

the shower was quite good, i will admit.
The other people staying there were odd. They seemed to just hang about. i wasn't sure who they were or what they were doing in the hallways! leaving my food in a shared fridge gave me flashbacks to my university days, and not in a good way.
