The staff were really helpful. They quickly moved me to a ground floor room when they noticed i was limping. fluffy white towels were in abundance, always a plus. free parking at the hotel was convenient (saved me a headache). the location is near sefton park and a bus stop to the city center.
the wallpaper in the room was coming off in places, needing a bit of an upgrade.

the location proved perfect with free parking available on-site. i found the bar with a chilled breakout area very good. it provided a relaxing space after a day of exploring. the staff were cute and the hotel maintained a clean scent throughout, i noticed.
i found the bed was on wheels and the head board was screwed to the wall. this made sitting up in bed for a simple cup of tea difficult as the bed rolled across the floor. i found this inconvenient.

the room was indeed clean upon arrival. the location allowed easy access to nearby sefton park, a definite plus for morning walks. also , i found the free parking very convenient , easing travel stress.
the breakfast was quite basic , offering limited options for a more fulfilling start to the day.

The staff was friendly and explained everything well.
The room had some significant issues. Curtains were not properly hung, they did not meet in the middle. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, that was not ideal. A curtain tie back had detached, it left holes in the walls.

The bus stop is directly outside. This made getting around simple. My room, a Standard Double Room, was very clean and well kept. The beds were definitely comfortable!!!
The stairs to the breakfast room were a bit narrow.
