dull areamissing luggage rack
The room did not feel particularly luxurious. the view from my room overlooked a dull area (it was just an average view). there was no luggage rack. I had to manage my belongings directly from the floor. this was inconvenient, given the price i paid for the stay.

the room i had looked completely different to the pictures online, so i was disappointed. also, the carpets looked a little dirty which bothered me. the facilities were not great either, honestly.

I found the location convenient, close to transport links. the staff were helpful. They allowed me to store my bags before check-in. the room was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
I noticed paper cups were provided in the room. They became unusable after only a few uses, leaking from the bottom.

my standard double room was super clean, neat and comfortable. the bathroom was also in tiptop cleanliness. the hotel kept everything in excellent condition.

the lounge area doubles as a breakfast area in the morning! i observed nice offerings and well laid out sections with continental, traditional british, and pastries.

the hotel is within walking distance to tube stations, aldgate and tower hill. it is in a good neighborhood next to fenchurch and an easy stroll to bishopsgate. you are able to walk to tower bridge and by the river.

the staff were very polite and helpful with every question in no time. the reception and lounge area has a very quiet and cute ambience! i was more than satisfied.

the lounge area is a gin bar during the day and night. leaving bags there before check in was very handy. the hotel has a good decorated lobby, it looked almost new.
