friendly staffgreat showermodern roomcigarette smelldated hotelpoor impression
the staff were seriously very friendly and approachable. i was able to crack a few jokes with them. they were very accomodating with my requests. the room was a pleasant surprise. it had a really nice size, and the shower was great. the rooms look more modern than the hotel lobby and hallways.
the whole bottom floor smelt very strongly of cigarettes. it seemed very dated. the free car park was good. however, litter and random items did not give a great first impression. people were hanging out near the entrance, the smoking area!

The hotel included a large car park. CCTV was in operation there and I felt secure leaving my vehicle. The staff were friendly and helpful , and they addressed my questions promptly. The room included a fridge and microwave.
The corridors seemed slightly dated.

The beds were comfortable enough I suppose.
The room reeked of smoke I suspect people were smoking just outside the windows at night. The area looked a bit sketchy too with an overflowing clothes bank nearby.

Helen provided an helpful welcome. The room contained tea, coffee, and biscuits. The new bathroom sparkled. It was super clean, a good surprise after a long day. I found this feature particularly charming and appreciated the care taken in maintaining the space. I found parking ample and without charge. This made arrival and departure seamless.
The building sign had a missing letter, which slightly impacted the initial impression.

clean roomaged corridorcigarette smell
the room was clean and tidy when i arrived, i suppose.
the corridors looked aged and a bit rundown, it must be said. my room had a weird smell, like stale cigarettes and old carpets. the heating didn't work, so i froze all night, it was a disaster. there was also so little soundproofing, i could hear everything happening outside.
