musty smell cold water
The room smelled a bit musty (I think it needed airing). The shower only had cold water. I mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning, but it was too late for them to do anything. there were only a few shared toilets for many rooms.

The room was quite super clean and cozy. I found GREAT value for the money I paid. The facilities were perfect for my needs. Breakfast provided good value as well.
My room was very dusty, this was a PROBLEM. There was also a mark of blood on the wall. I also noticed the glass table had marks on it.

convenient location train station good breakfast comfortable environment
the location proved quite convenient for accessing both the bus and train stations. a short walk led to the theatre and various restaurants. breakfast gave a good start to each day. the place offered a comfortable environment.
I noticed that the walls seemed a bit thin. I could hear some sounds from adjacent rooms.

acceptable but with issues
outdated decor unpleasant receptionist
the location was central. it was easy to get around the area.
the room decor felt outdated. the receptionist was not very pleasant upon my departure. there was no inquiry about my stay and the farewell was quite cold.

unclean bathroom hanging pipes
the staff were perfect and friendly plus my room was very clean and tidy.
the cooked breakfast was not included and that was a huge disappointment. i saw what the cooked breakfast actually was and i would have been sorely disappointed if i had paid for it. the bathroom was unclean and the pipes to the sink were hanging off.

Solid Value and Convenient Location
luggage storage complimentary breakfast
I found the staff helpful with luggage storage after checkout, really convenient. My single room was sufficiently clean and provided adequate space. The complimentary breakfast (toast and cereal) was a welcome touch (I always appreciate a simple start to the day!).
The soundproofing could definitely be improved. I could hear conversations next door, distracting at times.

The staff accommodated my late check-in with no problems. They also offered assistance with directions to nearby attractions. The reception area was tidy and cute.

My room included a shower and sink, even though it was a non-ensuite room. The bed had clean linens and two pillows. I found the space adequate for a short stay (plus, there was a TV!).

The self-service breakfast included cereals, yogurt, and toast. Coffee, tea, and juice were available in the breakfast area. Everything was neatly arranged and easy to access.

poor breakfast lacking service
The breakfast was not good at all. It was not worth the title of a bed and breakfast. the service also fell short. i expected more from a place calling itself a b&b. i found it quite disappointing.
