The staff were very friendly and helpful . i really liked the variety at breakfast. It was the best i have ever had in a hotel. the hotel grounds are lovely and i saw outdoor seating areas.

My room had some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and in the corners. It was not ideal. there was also lots of dust on the dressing table. i didn't find soap to wash my hands at the sink, which i felt was a basic essential.

The location proved advantageous. I could easily walk to the park.

The lack of soundproofing was troubling. I constantly heard noise from adjacent rooms. The bathroom was also quite dated, with a leaky faucet and cracked tiles.
