i stayed in a standard double room lake view for two nights. the room was spacious, a plus. the bed was very comfortable and offered a good night's sleep.. the balcony gave a direct view of the lake. i also found the location very convenient, close to shops and restaurants.
the bathroom was a bit basic, but functional.

I was not thrilled with the room setup. The air conditioning unit was noisy and quite large. It partially blocked the window. I couldn't fully open it to see the lake view I was hoping for. The breakfast was also underwhelming. It reminded me of airline food. I ended up eating breakfast at another nearby hotel.

Charming stay near lake

the family room was clean. its location was very near the train station, made catching the golden pass express very easy early in the morning. the hotel provided a simple breakfast that included croissants, sourdough bread, various juices and a coffee machine.
the room door was difficult to open sometimes. we needed assistance both times we returned to our room. the wooden floor had scratches and one square was missing, which caused me to trip.

The location was quite good.
The room smelled stale and the toilet had issues (not a great combination). The toilet seat didn't fit properly. It was too small. there was no fridge in the room, a significant oversight.

THIS location ROCKS! It is VERY close to the train station. I walked easily. The lake view from the room was Amazing. The receptionist was super friendly and HELPFUL.
the standalone air conditioning unit was pretty NOISY.

The reception staff helped me quickly when I asked for an extra pillow. They were available 24 hours a day and were fluent in both English and French. I GREATLY appreciated their assistance.

The hotel includes a restaurant. I saw it offered a buffet breakfast. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel, THAT was awesome. I did not use the parking garage, but it was across the street.
