The location is super convenient with a bus stop right outside. I found it easy to reach several restaurants nearby!!! The free parking was a HUGE plus, and the room was clean. The owner was an absolute legend, I really enjoyed our chats.
The stairs to the top floor were a little steep.

the hotel is near a bus stop. costa coffee in shipley works for breakfast. asda and saltaire co-op are handy for lunch. drakes fish shop is good. the crafty indian and shimla spice are good options in shipley too. the single room was at the top, at the rear. i saw the car park from there. it surprised me that few people stayed during the saltaire festival.
my room was small and under the eaves. the stairs to the top floor were steep. i thought the layout was confusing and a little gloomy.

the room was clean, i guess.
The stairs were a nightmare. They were steep. it was like climbing mount everest just to get to my room. also, i requested an iron and was told they didn't have ironing facilities. This was quite annoying.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was big and quiet, with everything I needed. Parking was easy (a real plus for me).
My room was small, tucked under the eaves. The stairs to the top floor were steep. The layout was a bit confusing and the lighting was gloomy.
