wonderful stay
charming buildingfriendly staffdelicious food
i experienced a good stay. i received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. the building has lots of charm and the staff were friendly. dinner included gammon steak with pineapple salsa and it was delicious.
the pillows were a little firm, but that was really the only issue.

breakfast included homemade granola and perfectly cooked poached eggs. suppers were excellent and hearty. the restaurant provides very good food. the manor bar offers lovely drinks.

the room was everything was super clean. it had soft linens and a comfortable mattress. my room was spacious and well-appointed. it contained everything i needed for a pleasant stay.

The room was clean enough. The bed was comfortable.
The service felt subpar I found staff acted without courtesy. At breakfast when I said "Good morning" the response was "What's your name". There was no greeting. I believe the staff needs better customer service training.

The room featured a large, spacious bathroom. Breakfast offered plenty of choices ensuring everyone found something satisfying.
The walk to the room in the wind and rain was not ideal, especially when returning in the evening.

the bedroom had french doors to the outside and felt huge. food tasted good too. they provided disability access in the room i stayed in.

The setting was lovely for morning coffee. Our cottage (Lavender Cottage No. 5) had a great layout and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was comfy.
