oriental charm, a nice stay!
warm hospitality clean facilities cozy bed ample space
The staff greeted us with smiles and really good helpfulness. Their warm hospitality really stood out! our dorm bed felt cozy and warm. It offered ample space! the facilities were well-kept, made everything easy to use! i particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the entire place.
The old building has minimal soundproofing. I could hear noises from other rooms.

The location allowed easy access to major attractions. It was super convenient! kiyomizu-dera temple was only a short walk away, a great way to start the day. Yasaka shrine is very close.

The kitchen had everything i needed including coffee and tea. It was very convenient. laundry facilities were available for a small fee. It cost 100 yen for washing and 100 yen for drying. i used the free yukatas.

The room featured tatami mats, comfortable and in great condition. air conditioning was available, and it was so useful. I used it every day! the bedding was fresh. Everything was super clean!

The staff allowed baggage storage before check-in and after check-out in a special room. This helped a lot. they offered earplugs! they were always ready to help with directions or any other questions.

Authentic and Clean Stay
warm welcome good english great location
The staff provided a genuinely warm welcome upon arrival. Their good English skills facilitated clear communication. The location proved amazing. It was great value for money. The room I stayed in was a Bed in 8-Bed Female Dormitory Room, offering privacy while still feeling part of the shared space.
The shower room felt a bit tight, and the shelves seemed old.

perfect location friendly staff comfortable futon thin walls dirty shower changed passcode
the location was perfect it was close to many attractions. the staff was also very friendly and helpful with directions. the room had a lovely garden view and comfortable futon.
the walls seemed quite thin i could hear noise from other rooms. the shared shower baskets looked consistently dirty.

cold room no facilities
the location was really convenient for seeing local sights.
my room was quite cold. the heater was near the ceiling, i felt the cold air on my face all night. there were no special facilities for children, it was a problem because i was traveling with my baby.

the location was acceptable being near tourist spots.
The room was quite dusty, specifically in the nooks. the shower baskets consistently was dirty. I think they need more frequent cleaning.
