room heating hot water daily cleaning
The room had heating (important for cooler evenings). Hot water was available in the shower, which I always appreciate. Daily room cleaning was provided, keeping the space tidy.
The staff at check-in were not very helpful.

loud air conditioning insufficient space
the location was fairly convenient.
The noise levels were unacceptable. i could hear traffic all night long. the air conditioning unit was also loud, cycling on and off frequently. the room size felt cramped. There wasn't sufficient space for luggage.

pleasant stay with convenient access
ideal location easy access updated room
i found the location ideal for exploring. the hotel provided easy access to both fort mason and fisherman's wharf. having a microwave and fridge in the updated room made things easier for quick meals.
the elevators seemed a bit old and not entirely reliable.

the beautiful king room non-smoking was quite spacious. it featured a comfortable king-size bed and ample storage (which i always appreciate!). the bathroom was modern and included all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

a coffee machine was conveniently located near the desk in my room. this was very helpful for a quick morning coffee before heading out (i love my coffee!). i did not dine at the hotel's restaurant.

the hotel's location allowed for easy access to key attractions. lombard street and fisherman's wharf were both within walking distance. i also found several pubs and restaurants in the immediate area, very convenient.

simple stay, solid value
efficient check-in ample parking helpful manager
check-in was very efficient. the manager was helpful, i thought. the rooms have what you need including a fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. towels are clean daily, and rooms were also cleaned daily. parking outside was ample.
my room was little basic. the bare, white walls.

the coffee shop, called The Coffee Berry, is just across the street. it serves coffee, tea, and pastries. its a good option for a quick breakfast and opens early everyday.

free parking is available on site, i was happy about it. transport options to main attractions are easy from the hotel. free coffee is available in the reception and its good perk.

thin walls unfriendly staff
the walls were thin i could hear everything from the next room and that was really annoying traffic noise was constant all night long it made it hard to sleep i think the soundproofing could really be improved. also the staff were not so friendly the person at the front desk seemed annoyed when i asked a question
