basic but with issues
missing hand towels simple breakfast
the room was big enough, helpful.
the room was quite basic, i suppose it fits the name. there were only shower towels and toilet paper in the bathroom, no hand towels were provided. the breakfast was also quite simple, i don't think it was worth the money. the hotel seems to be cutting costs in the wrong places.

decent stay with minor issues

The staff was really helpful when i had my phone stolen in st tropez. i dont speak french, so they called around to try to find it for me. i appreciated that a lot, even though we didn't get the phone back. Their help was above what i expected. the hotel is located in a good area for walking around the city.
my room faced a busy road, so it was noisy at night. even with ear plugs, i woke up because of cars and street cleaners. the hotel wanted a 50 euro deposit when i arrived, and a city tax for my stay length. they did not clean my room unless i paid extra.

simple charm in the old town
helpful staff french assistance staff dedication
the staff was very helpful when my phone got stolen. i needed help with calling and they assisted me since i do not speak french. their assistance was invaluable even though we did not recover the phone. i appreciated their willingness and dedication.
i noticed a bad smell in the hallway and the room. also, towel changes only occurred upon request. i wish these were addressed more proactively for added comfort.

the hotel is located close to the city center. this made it simple to walk to shops. we also found it easy to reach local attractions like the beach and numerous cafes.

the breakfast was great and included many options, but the scrambled eggs were inedible. however, the variety of other food available more than made up for this single issue. overall, we found breakfast to be a good experience.

a reasonable stay
room space convenient location poor material uncomfortable bed
The room was spacious it was a twin room. The location is near place garibaldi and rue bonaparte. Many restaurants and bars are close by and away from the tourist area. The station gare de riquier is also close.
The quality of materials inside the room seemed very poor. The bed was hard i found it uncomfortable. I was not offered any room service for a short stay.
