limited daylight unexpected charges
My room faced an interior courtyard, it barely had any natural light. the breakfast was rather basic. it ended before the advertised time, it was a race against the clock. i found the extra charges unexpected. They added a considerable amount to the final bill, it wasn't pleasant.

Really good Hospitality and Prime Location
cute staff safe parking
the hotel staff were very cute and efficient. the parking garage offered safe and easy access to the hotel. it's convenient and provides peace of mind. i found the location excellent for reaching key areas.
i noticed the rooms were dark. there was no exhaust fan in the room.

the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. the high ceilings enhanced the feeling of openness. there was art that provided a local touch to the room and added to the experience.

the staff was helpful, i found that acceptable.
the room was sparsely appointed. it seemed to be missing furniture. the carpet desperately needed replacement, i was not happy about that.

unrefunded deposit front desk oversight
I was a little disappointed. My room deposit was not refunded back to my card after two weeks. The man at the front desk told me it would be refunded (I trusted him). I didn't mind paying the money, but I wish they hadn't told me they would give it back and then not do so. I thought this was a major oversight (a mistake that shouldn't happen).

convenient location easy walk great breakfast dated room worn carpet small window
The location was quite convenient. It was an easy walk to the French Quarter and other attractions. Breakfast was a highlight each morning. I found the variety of options to be a great start to the day.
The room felt a bit dated. The carpet showed some wear and could use replacing. I also noticed limited natural light. The small window didn't offer much of a view.
