excellent location spacious suite large bathroom loud noise winding staircases filthy carpets
The location was excellent. It was very close to the main street and public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Byron Suite was spacious and roomy. It had a large bathroom with a deep bath and shower.
There was noise from the courtyard until 2 am. I found it loud. The staircases are long and winding. They are difficult to navigate with suitcases. The carpets were filthy and had an unpleasant smell. I assume it was because it's dog friendly.

friendly staff tea facilities loud music nightclub
the location was good it had friendly staff and tea and coffee were available in the room
i was not expecting the music to be as loud it seemed like sleeping above a nightclub the music continued until 3am on both thursday and friday nights glasses in the room vibrated

The room had tea and coffee facilities. I also found the bed comfy. The bathroom was quite large and featured both a shower and a bath. Checking in and out was easy!
The music from the bar was very loud! The floor and furniture in my room vibrated until after 2 AM. I couldn't sleep until it stopped.

I found the staff very helpful. the location was convenient, near many bars and restaurants. my room was large and clean. I noticed it had ample storage and even a fridge. the bed was very comfortable. I got a great night's sleep!!!

While i did not have extensive dining experiences at the hotel, the bar area was pleasant and well-stocked. I noticed several guests enjoying their time there, and the drink selection seemed diverse.

The staff were responsive and helpful . Any questions i had were addressed promptly, and they made check-in and check-out straightforward and easy, which i appreciated very much.

The hotel's location is central. I could easily walk to the main attractions, shops, and restaurants, made exploring the city very convenient and enjoyable!!!

Tea and coffee making facilities were conveniently available in my room. This allowed me to enjoy a hot beverage whenever i wanted.

noise issue late wake-up
The noise was a real problem. I couldn't sleep until 2:30 AM one night because of the loud music coming from downstairs. I was in town for work, so waking up late due to the lack of sleep was a disaster. I think the hotel should make this noise issue clear before people book rooms. No one working away should stay here.

central location ample space large bathroom loud music outside speaker worn appearance
the location is undeniably central. it is convenient for accessing main attractions. the byron suite provided ample space with a separate bedroom. a large bathroom included both a shower and a tub.
music played quite loudly late into the night. an outside speaker amplified the sound. i found the noise quite disruptive. the hotel appears somewhat worn.
