a proper breakfast changed my mind.

the room was warm and clean which i loved. my bed had two pillows, it was nice. the english breakfast i had was probably one of the best ever. it was all cooked fresh just how i like it. the plate was hot with beans and tomatoes in a separate dish.
i believe the hotel could use updating as it looks quite drab.

the room did not appear cleaned prior to my arrival. the carpet needed vacuuming, and the towels had what looked like dried blood stains. i found this unacceptable.

The room included a clean shower, and the bed was really firm (perfect for a good night's sleep!). I enjoyed the fast and efficient reception service with free parking available. Breakfast was really good and cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the breakfast (especially the pancakes!).
The decor looked a bit outdated, with chipped paintwork evident in the room.

The manager at reception was friendly. A courteous lady greeted me at breakfast. The owners are friendly, courteous and professional, they are a lovely family.

the room was clean and the bed was comfortable i appreciated the new comfy mattress provided there were also plenty of tea coffee and biscuits available in the room clean towels were readily accessible i found this to be a very cheap and accessible room.
the wallpaper had a few patchy spots in some areas which was a minor visual imperfection.

The room was kept lovely and warm. the bed included two pillows, just right for me. breakfast was nice. It was cooked to order with all fresh ingredients (i could taste the difference!). the plate arrived hot, and the beans and tomatoes were served in separate dishes, a lovely touch.
