the owner was warm and friendly! he accommodated my request to park before check-in. a fridge and microwave WERE useful.
i expected a hotel. the hotel felt more like an old boarding house. steep narrow stairs were present.

the host was indeed helpful. he provided local information. i found the room quiet. the bed allowed a comfortable night's sleep.
i found the stairs steep. they were also narrow. the hotel felt a little dated. it reminded me more of an old boarding house than a hotel.
