romantic getaway on the water
spacious boat dramatic clouds adorable puppy extra time
I found the boat surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. It surpassed my expectations. i loved relaxing on the patio watching the storm clouds gather in the distance. It was so dramatic! the owner was a sweetheart. She let me cuddle her puppy during check-in and check-out. they kindly gave us an extra thirty minutes when we lost track of time.
The bed was a bit too firm. It impacted my sleep quality slightly but it wasn't too bad.

The staff was friendly. They checked us in early and showed us all the boat features. they also allowed us to borrow bikes. This made getting to the nearby beach easy and enjoyable. the check-in and check-out process was straightforward.

The kitchen had all the basics. It included a coffee pot and plenty of kitchen items. we appreciated being close to a supermarket. It was an easy walk to get groceries. nearby restaurants provided great dining options. Sunset grill was especially good.

Our bungalow was clean and well kept. It offered enough space for two people. there were plenty of towels and toiletries. It allowed us to feel at home immediately. the air conditioning worked well. It kept the space comfortable.

the hotel offered fine water VIEWS and parking was right outside the lodge. Everything I needed for meals WAS there. The beds and bedding were comfortable.

This houseboat was well equipped with necessities such as cookware. The beds were comfy, a very welcome discovery after a long day. The location is quiet (perfect for escaping the usual tourist crowds). I appreciated access to bikes.
The wifi signal was a little weak at times.

The kitchenette included essential appliances for preparing simple meals. A nearby grocery store (publix is across the street) made stocking up easy, saving money on restaurant dining. Having breakfast on the deck was really lovely.

The location is close to sombrero beach (about 5 minutes by car). This spot offered convenient access to key attractions. Route 1 access is also convenient for exploring other nearby destinations. I found the area quiet.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was straightforward, and any queries i had were addressed promptly. I definitely felt well looked after (they even offered some local tips!).

The bungalow included plenty of towels and pillows. A shaded deck area allowed appreciating the water views. The unit was clean (very important!) and well maintained, with all advertised amenities in working order.

Idyllic Boathouse Retreat
unique experience equipped kitchen free access
I adored the unique experience of staying on a houseboat. The well-equipped kitchen and main room offered real comfort . Free access to bikes and kayaks added a layer of adventure, allowing me to explore the surroundings with ease. I was lucky enough to see a manatee visiting.
I noticed limited TV options and had trouble using my streaming device due to WiFi issues. I used my phone's hotspot instead, a workaround but not ideal. The narrow couch was not very comfortable for extended lounging.

helpful staff bike rentals daily manatee
Keith gave SUPERB assistance with bike rentals, enabling a lovely trip to Pigeon Key. Kayaks were also AVAILABLE. The deck provided a spot to observe daily manatee visits and Fine sunsets. I really enjoyed my experience.
