The Waterloo Hotel & Bistro generally provides a satisfactory experience, with guests appreciating its proximity to the Transporter Bridge and the convenience of private parking in the rear courtyard, although some found access a little difficult for larger vehicles. Rooms are often described as large and comfortable, with some offering a view of the bridge. While the hotel has many original features and a bar serving good beer and cider, some guests have noted the surrounding area can seem a little run down.

kind personnelclean roomrundown locationkitchen refurbishment
the reception personnel were very kind and explained everything i needed to know (a warm welcome is always nice). the room was clean, and it. i liked that the staff ordered in a takeaway because there were limited eating options nearby. this.
the location around the building looks a bit rundown. i also noticed that the kitchen was closed due to refurbishment, and i had to eat elsewhere the first night.
