i picked this place mainly because my dear friend and i were venturing on a cycling trip along the leeds liverpool canal. it was only a short distance from our starting point. the staff were genuinely helpful and took great care in securing our bikes. it had enough space for two bikes.
i found this a bit inconvenient. perhaps some modernisation could enhance the overall experience.

Fresh towels were available upon request, and bins were emptied regularly. The bed was very comfortable and lovely. I found the location fantastic. It is close to various venues with a quick walk into town. I will stay again!
The windows did not shut completely, and noise from outside was noticeable due to single glazing.
