the staff were very friendly and helpful. the evening meal at the hotel was lovely, and we chose to eat there a second evening. breakfast was also very tasty.

The room had lots of bugs. I noticed a few on the bed. loud traffic made it difficult to sleep. it was also cold on arrival.

i stayed for a few nights and the room was a standard double room. the breakfast was excellent and i really enjoyed the cooked menu. the atmosphere was very relaxed, especially by the log burner.

i found a good number of bugs in the room and it made my stay unpleasant.

The room felt quite small it wasn't the relaxing space I hoped for. I found hairs in the shower it was a little unsettling. The breakfast service felt disorganized nobody seemed to know what to do. I also noticed a musty smell in the hallway perhaps some dampness needs addressing.

the staff were friendly and accommodating. the food in the restaurant was delicious and portions were generous. breakfast included a full english and they catered to our early schedule. they even drove us to the train station, which i appreciated.

there was some traffic noise , made sleeping a bit difficult.
