The staff were lovely and helpful. My room was perfect for me traveling alone. The bed was comfy. I had fresh towels every day.
The real ale was off. Breakfast was disappointing. The continental breakfast had pre-sliced bread for toast and cold hard boiled eggs.

the staff provided early breakfast. it was a very good one. easy parking was available. the location is close to the port.
i found the bathroom extractor fan was not working. the shower head pointed vertically. a shower mat was not provided for the bath. this was dangerous as the bath was slippy.

the hotel is situated in a quiet location. the premises are near the stena ferry. various shops including morrisons are on the way to the ferry. a fuel station enables filling up before crossing.

the breakfast was very good. it used quality products. the staff was friendly and helpful! the breakfast was varied with a full english option. excellent quality was noticeable again.

The shower in my room was a real letdown. It barely sprinkled water this). also, the noise from the street at night was pretty bad. even with the windows closed, i could hear cars and people talking loudly. This made it difficult to sleep. (i'm usually not a light sleeper!).

the staff was friendly. the breakfast was amazing and the price was good. the location was great for a quick overnight before getting the ferry. both dinner and breakfast were excellent.
the bathroom extractor fan was not working.
