the hotel had a great location near many restaurants. the room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful (they gave great recommendations).
my room was on the ground floor near reception, so it was noisy. the small window faced an inside courtyard, therefore there was no daylight. the bed felt uncomfortable.

i loved that my room overlooked the alameda de hercules gardens, i mean, the largest gardens in spain! the hotel felt spanish inside, this really added to the charm. the value for money was also really good.
my only very minor issue was that the junior suite was quite basic, with just one chair and a somewhat dusty sofa.

the staff were very helpful , especially with sorting out train details and recommending local places to eat. they gave excellent, personalized attention to my needs.

A lovely stay near everything!

I find the baroque style decor very charming. My junior suite overlooked the avenue. I loved the high wooden ceilings. The bathroom felt great.
The street was quite noisy late into the night.

The hotel is located within a comfortable walking distance to many places. Nearly everything important was only about 15 minutes away. Alameda de Hercules is very interesting too, it has very nice bars.

The air conditioning works very well. It's very important because the weather there is so hot. The staff let us check in to our rooms early. Everything was clean to my satisfaction.

I ate at the little bar right next door to the hotel. The bar is perfect for breakfast. You can also eat any meal there. It's very convenient .
