Lodge Visit, Totally Awesome!

I think the restaurant rocks with amazing food, dinners, and breakfasts. Canoeing and kayaking are available and hiking trails are close. The room was clean with a lovely lake view, and this is a wonderful hotel. I just had a marvelous time!
Accessing the room with suitcases was difficult because of the gravel pathway and stairs.

The setting is quiet just outside of town. It is a fun drive to the lodge. I liked the areas throughout the grounds with deck chairs and barbecue pits, very nice.

Kayaking on the lake was a dream. There is also a cute fire pit out in front of the lake. The dock is great, but I loved lying on it at night to marvel at the stars.

The room included a gas fireplace and a nice bathroom. The hot tub service aligned with a upscale lodge. THERE were red chairs with a gas fire pit in front of the lake.
The wooden walkway to my room was icy. It was necessary to walk in the middle of the driveway to get to the room.

The comfy king bed was a HUGE plus after a long day of exploring. We certainly enjoyed the canoe rental included with the stay to paddle on the pristine lake. The fireplace in the room created a cozy atmosphere. I felt right at home.
I noticed the noise from neighboring rooms was quite audible.

The hotel location was fantastic. I enjoyed the convenient access to nearby trails. The setting provided a peaceful escape. The available canoes offered a wonderful way to explore the lake. The hotel service was excellent!

I was thankful for the convenient car parking. the restaurant was great and the filtered water at reception really helped. i also had so much fun kayaking on the lake for an hour. It was included. the location was fantastic for my needs.

the location on the lake seemed okay.
The lack of landscaping was surprising. It felt unfinished. there was a steep gravel road cutting through the resort (i didn't think this was a great design). the sidewalk to my room was supposed to be concrete, but it was just a mess.
