I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. they were really good too assist, especially since i was traveling with children. we also found free parking in front of the hotel which helped a lot. the location was great. It was just a few minutes walk to the north pier area.
the room we were initially assigned did not match the photos i saw when i booked , and the room was not soundproofed.

my room was newly decorated and spacious. the mattress was firm and comfortable. staff offered a varied breakfast, i enjoyed the fast wi-fi, i worked in my room and the public lounge. the hotel is a few minutes from the centre, which pleased me.
Upon arrival, the reception area had a fusty smell, and it bothered me. The smell of the room was damp and horrible. paint was peeling all round, it was dusty, and the window was filthy, and it wouldn't shut properly.

i liked the varied breakfast options. there was a good selection of hot and cold items, including pastries, cereals, and cooked breakfast items, all nicely presented. the dining area was clean and well kept, it was a pleasure.

tiny roomuncomfortable night
It looked rather worn. I asked to switch rooms. The manager was helpful, giving me the room next door. This new room was really small. The bathroom was cramped! The room was also very hot, it made sleeping uncomfortable.
