the location was near several subway stations. this made access to the city very easy. the hotel provided tea and coffee around the clock on the first floor (i enjoyed this amenity). my room was spacious and had a good view.
my room's shower did not drain well. the vent in the bathroom was also not working. the mattress felt old and lumpy (it affected my sleep).

The room wasn't the cleanest. i found some hairs in the bathroom, and the carpet had stains. also, the tv remote didn't work when i arrived. I had to call down to get it fixed. the curtains had a big rip. They looked pretty worn.

the hotel is a short walk from the subway. it took about 20 minutes to get to midtown. the neighborhood felt safe. i could easily grab coffee and snacks nearby.
i noticed some minor wear and tear in the hallways.

there's an outdoor area to eat food. the lobby includes a microwave, very useful for heating up leftovers and snacks.

My room included a mini-fridge. i found the air conditioning efficient, a plus! the shower was excellent. and toiletries were provided. I loved the large bin.
