check-in was easy, the staff showed me around. the owner provided his mobile number for access after hours, thoughtful. the room had essential facilities (i found it quite nice). the staff were attentive and helpful.
the building felt quite warm, so i had to keep the windows open.

The location worked perfectly for what i needed. a cheap car park was just behind, and it was free on sundays. the staff were really friendly. I loved the bar. the beds were comfy, even if the rooms were basic.
the place felt a bit shabby, not dirty. there was only one working shower room for everyone! i was like there wasn't much of a barrier to street noise when the window was open.

the tv was good. tea and coffee was provided , made for a lovely morning. staff showed us where everything was and were very accommodating. the owner were very helpful, attentive and friendly.
the building was very hot. i had to keep windows open. i was bitten during the night by midges.
