the swimming pool had clean showers. the animal corner provided a petting time to hold the guinea pigs. a river walk exists accompanied by a family of geese.
the site felt out of the way. there was zero for kids to do here.

the accommodation was spacious. it was also clean. the staff were friendly. i liked the quiet location with beautiful views.
the website advertised animal petting on saturdays. i was told there wasn't any that saturday. the cosy cafe was opened from 9am till 12pm. they didn't serve lunches.

i visited in may and again in september. accommodation was very clean and well equipped both times. grounds are kept clean and tidy. i will be back.
i noted hot tubs seem to attract people who play loud music day and night. site rules exist, but they are not always enforced.

the location provides a good base to visit the eden project. it is also convenient for visiting the lost gardens of heligan. several neighbouring towns are easily accessible.

the cosy café opens each day at 9am. the café closes early at 12pm. it is a short walk from the two-bedroom house.

the front of house staff greeted me with a warm welcome. staff were helpful from arrival. the hot tub was regularly tested by staff.
