friendly staff spacious dining room
The staff provided directions. This helped me . the continental breakfast had a spacious dining room. It was quite convenient. it was only a 7 minute walk to the sherbrooke metro station.
It did not have an elevator. This might be difficult if you have heavy luggage.

delicious pastries fruit salad friendly staff
the provided breakfast included delicious pastries. a good fruit salad was also available. the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
the stairs were quite narrow, which posed a slight inconvenience.

a lovely hotel
luggage storage dinner suggestion clean room
i arrived a little early, yet they offered storage for my luggage. i received an orientation to nearby areas including affordable parking. the concierge brought my bags to the room later, and they suggested a good spot for dinner. the room was clean. it was well-furnished.
the walls seems thin. i heard conversations in the hallway. it was a bit distracting at times.

mixed feelings about my stay
missing tiles flimsy window
my room seemed neglected. tiles were missing from the bathroom floor. a wooden stick secured the window, that seemed a bit flimsy. the elevator looked out of service, that required me to carry my luggage up stairs.

good size bathtub hot water heavy luggage mobility problems
the location had walking distance to a lot of points of interest. the room had a good size bathtub and hot water.
there were no lifts to the upper floors it meant it was necessary to carry our heavy luggage up a flight of stairs. this could be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. the maintenance issues should be fixable, and i hope the owners will do so as this hotel has a lot of potential.

helpful staff spacious room great location
The staff were very helpful whenever i needed anything. The room was clean. it was very spacious for two people. we liked the location as it was walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops on st laurent.

soundproofing problems
poor soundproofing constant traffic
breakfast was acceptable.
the room faced the street, i could hear traffic all night long. the soundproofing was clearly lacking. it made sleeping very difficult.
