fire alarm
The noise from downstairs was too much to get sleep.. i suppose that is the downside of a pub hotel on a Saturday night. I just managed to drop off when the fire alarm went off, it kept sounding for a good hour, so there was no chance of going back to bed after that.

the room was quite spacious and clean. a staff member showed me how to use the radiator (this was very helpful). the storage was great and i appreciated the large, powerful shower. the location was convenient for nearby facilities.
i noticed some slight wear on the carpets in some public areas.

noisy arearoom allocation
the bar area reminded me of it was missing something. it was quite noisy late each night. i had trouble sleeping because of it. i think management could ensure better noise control and room allocation.

bathroom doorfire safety
the bathroom door did not close properly only some screws were in place i was also concerned about fire safety the door lock had issues. there was no hot water for three nights i had problems with the mixer tap in the shower. i phoned after my stay but management never contacted me back someone said i was complaining to cause trouble.
