noisy room thin duvet
the location was acceptable (i walked everywhere).
my room was noisy. i could hear everyone coming and going near the front door. the mattress was cheap and unsupportive. the thin duvet offered little warmth as there were no extra blankets.

musty smell old mattresses
the room size was acceptable and met my needs for space.
I found the cleanliness lacking, with a noticeable musty smell upon arrival.. the sash window in my room would not stay open on its own, requiring me to prop it open with a bin. additionally, i was disappointed by the mattresses. They felt old and had visible dips, impacting my sleep quality.

fantastic stay!
spacious family room comfortable beds simple check
i had a spacious family room, and i traveled with a lot of luggage so i was happy to be given a large room. i stayed in room 4. beds were comfortable. tea, coffee, sugar and milk were filled to the top. check in was simple as we had our codes to get in.
The cups were dirty. the shower water was not consistently hot . It would suddenly go cold!

the location was perfect and easy to get a bus from the hotel. it was a short walk to victoria street , and then to royal mile.

tea, coffee, and sugar were generously provided, and milk was available for our use , this meant we could easily make hot drinks in the room. the fridge in the room allowed us to store snacks.

comfortable stay near the centre
sufficient hooks comfortable beds ideal temperature
the room had sufficient hooks to hang clothes easily. beds were comfortable and helped me unwind after a long day. the temperature was just ideal for a restful sleep. entry system worked smoothly.
i noticed some slight wear, and a minor refresh could elevate the overall experience.

the beautiful double room offered two single beds, each 90cm wide it has a private bathroom. inside, i found towels, bed linen, and useful furniture like a table, chair, poufy, armchair, and a chest of drawers.

just so-so stay
the room included hooks, useful for hanging clothes.
the floor was carpeted but not clean, i even saw another dirty carpet in the bathroom. there wasn't any shampoo provided so i couldn't even take a proper shower. the lid of the trash can also had a thick layer of dust on it, a detail the cleaning staff seemed to miss.

simple check-in walking distance complimentary drinks
The room included tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The check-in process used codes, simple. The area around the hotel was nice. Many attractions were within walking distance.
The sound insulation was minimal from the room above. Footsteps and voices were audible late at night.
