Wonderful Stay by the River

Sam and the team provided such a warm welcome. The family room was great for our needs, the river view was a bonus. The locals are friendly and enjoy sharing local history. I found the pub had charm throughout.

The fish and chips were amazing. The batter was light. My wife enjoyed a homemade chicken burger. It was seasoned beautifully. I appreciated the variety of drinks and ciders available at the bar.

Our family room was split into two rooms. Each had a double bed. Bunk beds were in one of the double rooms. The beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep.

The landlady gave me a warm welcome over the telephone. The barman on shift was helpful. The customers all seemed lovely. Sam and her team are very friendly, and would recommend to everyone.

the food tasted great i eat. the guinness was spot on to drink too. the building had a lot of character to see. staff was amazing and very helpful.

the location is right by the river, offering a peaceful setting. staff were cute and accommodating (.). my room included kingfisher-themed decor and very clean white bedding, which i liked. the pub has a wide array of drinks, including many ciders, a real treat.
