The breakfast included very generous portions. Wifi was included (i did my zoom meeting easily). The location is near jephson gardens and the town centre (as well as the railway station). A little shop is close by for travel essentials.
The bathroom was small, even though the large bed was lovely. I found permit parking available right at the door. It still cost £4.50 for 24 hours. I found this acceptable (at least it was close).

martha was cute i found the room very clean it included tea making facilities and biscuits breakfast offered a great selection i really appreciated the complimentary parking permit for my car it made exploring the area easier
the shower pressure was slightly lower than i prefer but it was still perfectly functional

the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay they promptly addressed all my questions and made me feel welcome i really felt their commitment to guest satisfaction.

the room was comfortable and very clean it had everything i needed for a short stay including tea and coffee the bed was comfortable ensuring a restful night.

the location is within walking distance of several restaurants the train station is also close by jepson gardens and assembly are easily accessible on foot which was convenient for sightseeing.

complimentary parking was available which was a big plus for me the access to town and other attractions was very straightforward i appreciated the convenience.

the hallway had a stale cigarette smoke smell. i couldn't work out where the smell was coming from. the noise from other guests was high at times.

cigarette smokestreet noise
the hallway had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, it was quite off-putting. the room was at the front, and street noise was a problem late at night. drunk people outside made sleep difficult, i could hear their loud conversations. breakfast was decent, but it didn't make up for the noise and smoke. i probably won't stay again.
